Cutting, lamination, spiking
More grip and security on the road.
Cutting
– turning old into new!
Depending on the tire type and area of use, the mileage can be quickly and inexpensively increased by up to 30%.
Solid rubber tires can also be recut or specially profiled.
The grip capacity can be significantly improved in this way, for example with forklift tires.
Higher mileage – up to 30%
Improved road grip
Less wear
Up to 5% less rolling resistance
Still suitable for retreading
Recut tires may be used on vehicles over 3.5 t gross weight, with the exception of the steering axle of trucks, buses, and a transporter of hazardous goods.
Lamination
– for better traction
These are small cuts made into the tire tread by hand to increase traction on snow and ice.
This allows us to cut a grippy tread into a slippery solid rubber tire.
Lamination is not only possible on tires, but also on tracked vehicles.
For optimal grip, we recommend combining lamellae with spikes.
Spiked Tires – Cars, Tractors, Construction Machinery & More
Spiked tires are winter tires equipped with metal studs on the tread surface, providing better traction on snowy and icy roads.
On normal roads, the speed of a car with spiked tires is limited to 80 km/h, and on the highway a maximum of 100 km/h may be driven.
For car tires, spiking is only possible if the tire already has the necessary pre-drilled holes.
Spikes for All Tire Types
– fast and uncomplicated
At Reifen Jais, we offer spikes for every application.
For car tires, we have our own spiking machine, with which we can quickly and easily produce the desired spiked tires. In addition to car tires, we can also spike tractor tires, EM tires, forklift tires, tracked vehicles, quads, ice machines and even your shoes.
For construction machinery, tractors, forklifts or winter services, we offer various variants of screw spikes. We stock the most common spikes so we can work quickly and easily. The spike is easy to install and remove again.
